I have need to use bridged networking to the wireless adapter on my notebook. If I configure the Virtual network to use automatic bridging or even set it to bridge direct to the wireless card I get an IP address from my router or DHCP server depending on where I'm at. I am unable however to ping even the router that gave me the IP address.
I can ping the IP address of the wireless NIC on my laptop (Host)
The VM is Windows 7 x64
Host is Windows 8.1 x64
It's an Intel AC 7260 wireless card
Interestingly enough, on my Wireless modem (ATT Uverse) it shows the connection type as 'unknown' for the DHCP lease. It should show Wired or Wireless.
Any guidance?
